This is a blog born of a desire to brag about the stuff I learn.  Also, not inconsequentially, it’s an effort to remember what I’ve learned or at least be able to easily go back and re-learn it.  In the past couple of years, I’ve learned to fix both my washer and dryer, started a company, gotten very familiar with WordPress and trained for a triathlon.  I’m pretty sure I could go back and do all those again, but it’d be extremely helpful if I could remember how I did them the first time.  I can’t.

I will be a complete novice at some things I try (home repairs) and more experienced at others (computer stuff) and fully expect to make mistakes. Loads. There will always be a better way as well. When isn’t there a better way?  Never.  There never isn’t a better way.

Here is my starting list of things I want to learn, in case I run out of ideas:

  • Git
  • Github
  • WordPress e-commerce
  • Moon thing – I’ve never understood the phases of the moon
  • How to build a bookshelf on a wall
  • How to tile a floor
  • Proper eye makeup
  • The economy.  All of it.  I don’t understand it.
  • Password software
  • How to be a tutor for A Level chemistry and/or physics and/or math
